At the end of August, a few of our dedicated Rotary Club of Huntington Beach members joined forces with many other passionate volunteers for a morning of environmental stewardship at Bolsa Chica State Beach.
On a warm but beautiful Sunday morning, our team helped remove an incredible 433 pounds of trash from the beach! This effort not only kept our coastline clean but also protected marine life and preserved one of our community’s most treasured natural spaces.
A huge thank you to James Cool, our energetic Community Service Chair, for adding this volunteer opportunity, and for partnering with one of our favorite local charities – The Surfrider Foundation.
We’re already looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and doing it again! Stay tuned for our next clean-up event and join us in making a difference, one bag of trash at a time.
