Our 16th Annual “Science Nite” was an official success with nearly 2,000 attendees! Families gathered in the spacious grounds of the Math and Science Building at Golden West College and enjoyed over 3 hours learning about electricity, robotics, kinetic energy, principles of physics, geology and minerals, human bones and brains, botany, fireworks, the joy of therapy pets, and much more…
The Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, along with the help of our Interact Rotary Volunteers from Ocean View High School, once again treated the local kids and families to FREE Hot Dogs (compliments of the famous local Beef Palace), snacks, and beverages! The club also hosted the very popular “build a tower booth” with spaghetti and marshmallows!
As the event came to a close, children and parents left the event with smiles on their faces and a newfound excitement for science. “Science Nite” is an educational hit that aims to ignite the flames of curiosity, and inspire the next generation of STEM enthusiasts in Huntington Beach and its surrounding cities.
