This September, we had the incredible opportunity to host 22 students from around the world for a weekend full of fun, learning, and connection! Our international guests kicked off the California experience Friday night when we hosted some early arrivals to a backyard BBQ and swim party. Then we dove into it on Saturday with surf lessons and beach games at Huntington Beach, and a Sunday Funday of outrigger canoeing in the Newport Back Bay. The beach was alive with the sound of the ocean and laughter, while everyone enjoyed lunch and snacks right by the water. The day didn’t stop there! Before our canoeing adventure on Sunday morning, our Saturday wrapped up with a cozy spaghetti dinner, an outdoor bonfire and S’mores experience and a sleepover, fostering friendships and memories. We’re so proud to be a part of this global community, uniting students from different cultures to create an experience we hope they’ll never forget.
