We recently had the absolute pleasure of hearing all about the PAWS Pet Therapy Programs. Executive Director of the Canine Literacy Program – Kevin Marlin introduced us to the program and it’s benefits at one of our lunch meetings –
The PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) program serves as a foundation for several other programs including their Canine Literacy reading and library program, Kindness Kids education programs, as well as the PANDA program, serving the Orange County DA’s office by providing dogs to children victims of sexual assault, violence and abuse. Their AirPAWS program provides select teams a unique opportunity to serve as ambassadors to the organization as well as the County by working in the terminal at John Wayne Airport. They are very proud to offer Orange County residents from children to seniors, the benefits of pet assisted interaction and therapy.
